New Patients

Welcome to Our Office

As a new patient, you should expect to spend about one hour at your initial visit. After registration, we will update your records with digital X-rays, review your oral and medical history, and address your immediate concerns. Then Dr. Brune or Dr. Juarez will perform a comprehensive evaluation of your mouth, including your teeth, gums, jaw joints, head, neck, and soft oral tissues. Your doctor will also screen you for oral cancer using the Vizilite screening system. If we do not see any signs of gum disease, one of our highly-trained hygienists will provide a thorough cleaning at this first visit. Otherwise, we may need to schedule a follow up appointment for more in-depth periodontal care. Once we have the results of your comprehensive exam, your doctor will discuss the findings and explain her recommendations for treatment.
